Welcome
Friends of Quantock was founded in 1949 to counter the threat of large scale afforestation across the northern end of the Quantock Hills. We are a totally independent body and a registered charity, funded entirely by our membership. Friends of Quantock is run by a committee that works closely with all those involved in the management of the Quantock Hills, but at the same time provides an independent voice on all matters relating to the hills.
