Robert & Lesley Orr, successful restaurateurs, have settled in West Buckland, Somerset in a 200 year old cottage nestled at the foot of the Blackdown Hills on the Devon and Somerset borders. Tucked away, but easily reached from Junction 26 of the M5 motorway, the cottage is ideally situated for an overnight stop on the way to Cornwall and can also serve as a base from which to explore the glorious sights of Devon and Somerset. Lesley runs cookery demonstrations and will gladly prepare a good supper for you by arrangement. Robert, with an extensive knowledge of the south west region, enjoys helping our guests to plan day trips - either visiting gardens and National Trust properties or walks and drives to the coast and the moors.
